This is the home of John and Emma (Fleeman) Beyersdoerfer. It is located in Bracken county Kentucky on Willow Creek. Many of the old family photos were taken here. Many children and grandchildren were born in this house. This photo was taken at it's auction several years ago. It has just been re-purchased by a member of the family!! |

This is a Beyersdoerfer family gathering. The place of this gathering is unknown. Judging by the fireplace attached to the house they are standing next to, it is not John and Emma's homeplace seen in the picture below. When this photo was taken is also a mystery, but I would place it sometime between 1914 and 1916. My theory for this date lies in the appearence of John and Nellie B. in the back row, because they were married in 1915 (they look awefully young here) and their first child was also born in that same year. Since I don't see any of their kids in this photo, perhaps it is pre-children and maybe even pre-marriage. If anyone has any other clues to establish a date, please let me know. |
This was the house of John and Nellie (Cox) Beyersdoerfer. It is located in Pendleton County Kentucky. All four of their children were raised here, and all the grandchildren have wonderful memories of the Sunday afternoons spent at "Ma & Pa's". This house was sold out of the family in 1982. |
