The Allender Album was passed from Nellie Cox Beyersdoerfer to her daughter Freida Beyersdoerfer Watts. Inside the front cover are these words from Nellie to Freida: "Freida, great great grandmother Allender's album." According to the family history, Freida's Great, Great Grandmother Allender would have been Mary Stout Allender - wife of James Jackson Allender who built the wonderful log home in 1856, Pendleton County, Ky.(A picture of this house is on the home page.)
